The story of our wedding

Before we had our wedding, I would tell all my friends to save their stress and money and just elope. After the wedding, though, I had completely changed my tune. Being able to celebrate the day with our family and friends, to see all the smiles and loving tears. To meet the most amazing vendors, eat the most delicious food and most of all, see the look of pure happiness on my husband’s face… I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Sure, the day started off a little rocky. My bridesmaid, who was already running late, got pulled over for running a yellow. We forgot to bring all the champagne for the toast so I had to send my dad on a wild goose chase; and my veil would not stay on my head and just kept ejecting itself from me no matter how many pins we put in… but none of that mattered in the end because as soon as the ceremony started, everything rocky was made insignificant. I couldn’t say enough about how much I loved our wedding. The venue and flowers, the dancing and lawn games, the bubbles and, most importantly, the people we celebrated with. When the night came to an end and my husband and I got in the car, the first thing we said to each other was that there wasn’t a single thing we would change about our day. It was everything, and it was for us.
