The story of our wedding

It was the best day! We fell in love with our venue just over a year ago when we went to an open house tour. Brett loves to golf and Silver Lakes was the perfect venue with the ceremony taking place right on the pond at a beautiful gazebo. We did a traditional Celtic handfasting ceremony where we "tied the knot" in front of 83 guests. Our cocktail hour was outside under the pavillion where they had an outdoor bar and appetizers for our guests. The reception was inside and included a fun evening of dinner and dancing. We served a 4-course meal followed by late-night snacks and cupcakes. I even had a costume change and switched from a beautiful ballgown into a fun evening dancing dress. We took many lovely photos all around the venue and had a wonderful experience. We really want to highlight this wonderful venue and staff.
