The story of our wedding

Amazing day from start to finish!! Started with myself and the girls getting ready at my parents. We used Jenna Jones Beauty for our hair and make up, then drove to the ceremony in my parent's motorhome! Haha! We made a large and in charge wedding entrance! The ceremony and reception was held at the Okanagan Centre Hall which we loved. Beautiful garden in the back with views of Okanagan Lake. The ceremony was officiated by the amazing Gwen Smith (highly recommend) and was emotional, fun and relaxed-basically just what we wanted. My husband is Scottish, so was amazing to see so many men in a kilt!! After the ceremony, we had pictures up in the vineyards of the beautiful Okanagan Valley while our guests enjoyed outdoor games and happy hour. We had an amazing reception to follow which had a fantastic dinner catered by Rita at Good stuff catering. My brother was the MC and damn, he was good with his fun sense of humour! We played a newlywed game which was a hit and then really, just danced the night away with DJ Amanda at Airwaves. Oh, and for our cake, yes, we ended up getting 3 Dairy Queen ice cream cakes and stacked them on top of each other to create a beautiful tiered wedding cake! It was an absolute hit!! We had friends and family from all over Canada, Australia, Scotland and Switzerland come for our wedding, so we felt very blessed to have so many loved ones come and celebrate our wedding with us. It was the most magical day... take me backkkkkkk!!!
