The story of our wedding

A completely unexpected 20 degree day in Alberta in October. The Fall foliage was totally unexpected but entirely stunning.

When we learned that our original wedding vision wasn't going to be possible for some time to come with the unknowns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, we came up with a totally new one.

On October 3rd, we hosted an afternoon elopement-style ceremony at Canmore Ranch with our immediate families. The ceremony began at 1 and we were married by a long-time family friend who is also an Anglican priest.

Later we hosted our families at our hotel suite with gourmet pizza and sparkling wine.

It was a decidedly more casual than we had originally planned, but wouldn't change anything for the world.
