The story of our wedding

It’s crazy how much pressure is on one day, and how fast that day goes by. You worry about every little detail when at the end of the day, you just want to be with your husband and the ones you hold near & dear. For us it was such a crazy rush between planning, family drama (yes we all have it for some reason), to set up, and then finally the big day was here! They certainly do not joke when they say the day flashes by, our biggest suggestion is don’t be afraid to run off for a moment or two with your love and take a moment to take it all in. On your wedding day and hour isn’t 60 mins it feels like 60 seconds. Planning was not too bad, I am an organized crazed girl so it came easy. But my goodness we had to start early with all the pushed back COVID weddings we didn’t get the opportunity to work with some of the vendors that were our first choice. That being said the vendors we did hire- honestly did not disappoint we were so lucky! Set up was an insane cluster, so many people, so many random tasks big & small! My advice for you ladies, make sure you get the things you want but also don’t be afraid to let people help. Our wedding party blew us away with set up and knowing not to ask a lot of question. I did give free reigns on some things, but honestly so glad I did! It was perfect! - Trust your crew! Wedding day! Honestly I’m sure every girl says this but honestly it was perfect! I could not have asked for better weather, better friends & family. Everything went the way we wanted! Between the ceremony, reception, photos, dinner, the dance! We absolutely loved every second. We had a few dance offs too, which did not disappoint! We held our wedding at our place in the country as we didn’t want to fight with wedding venue availability and costs. We rented a 40’x60’ tent and had so much room! We had about 110 at the end of the night, and 60 for the ceremony. We had amazing friends that lent us chairs & tables, my grandma use to create bouquets for her church so she blew us away with the pampas and eucalyptus centrepieces, we had a beautiful amount of lights everywhere. Our catering blew us away, as did our photographer (who we had such a blast with - those smiles are all real!), and our DJ rocked it! There was not a moment where someone wasn’t on the dance floor! Be sure to not stress over the little things, because at the end of the day you married your best friend, and are surrounded by those you love. 💙🤍Happy planning ladies! You got this! 👊🏼
