The story of our wedding

We had our wedding at Stonefields and they were amazing and quite accomodating. It was supposed to be a fall outdoor wedding but we got some of the first snow falling of the year, and it was staying around 0-5C outside. This took out our on the veranda rainplan as an option too. Stonefields staff moved some tables around and we set up our ceremony space inside the reception hall and had it there. We had some amazing bouquets (and other flower decorations) done by Flowers Talk Tivoloi in Ottawa, our photos done by Lexine Menard, our cake and cupcakes done by The Cupcake Revolution - the best part about them, other than the taste, is that all the proceeds go to supporting Youth Events and Community Initiaves! Our rings were from Charm Diamond Centers, and we did a lot of the decorations ourselves, with many a trip to Michaels and their 40% or 50% off coupons. All of our printing - invites, orders of service and thank you cards were designed by us and printed by VistaPrint.

Our favourite moments included the numerous cute moments of our nephews and nieces as they sang, played, and partied themselves out (and ended up falling asleep behind the head table during the dance); THE FOOD - Stonefields catering was amazing - especially the dessert, a dark chocolate mousse with a tuxedo strawberry - DELISH!; Smores at our wedding - Because why not! - And the fact that it all actually/finally happened.
