The story of our wedding

Dane and I got married in West Saanich on a very foggy morning. Our ceremony was held at Starling Lane Vineyard where we were able to have the bridal party get ready at the Bridal Suite and the groomsmen enjoy some pre-wedding drinks in the Grooms Tower. The location has many options for ceremony locations. We had a gorgeous ceremony under the full trees and amongst the gardens. Our dogs and closest friends were a huge part of it. Throughout the ceremony Dane had lady bugs land all over him (a sign of good luck?). We then had a wine tasting in the barn.

Following the wine tasting our party moved to Prospect Lake Community Hall where we had a sit down dinner of comfort foods catered by Salt Chuck Pie Company. Although we could not dance, we could have music and had Carolyn Mark, Teenage Violets, Steph Macpherson, Jay MacLaughlin, and Gerry Kariaganis play. This space was beautiful and the perfect size for our 75 guests.

Our photographer is Danielle Lindenlaub who made my moody vintage dreams come true! We had videography and livestreaming by Michael Toru who made our far away loved ones feel like they were there.
