The story of our wedding

On Saturday May 8th, 2021 I was finally able to marry my best friend and the person I am excited to spend the rest of my life with. We were suppose to get married last July but postponed to May thinking covid would be better. As we continue to observe covid was not getting any better we decided to go ahead with our May 8th wedding ceremony with just our parents, my sister, the best man and my husband grandparents. At first I thought okay it is what it is at least I’ll be able to finally get married and wear my dress. We’ve been married for over a week now and let me tell you I am so happy we had our small ceremony in our backyard it couldn’t have been any more perfect. The weather was great, we had amazing decorations, food and dessert was wonderful. In all of the craziness that covid has brought marrying my now husband in a small intimate ceremony was the best thing and I wouldn’t change that day for the world.
