The story of our wedding

Devan and I met in Australia 3 years ago and dated long distance for a year till he flew to Canada. A year later he proposed in Edmonton, Alberta and 6 months from then was our wedding date. We had a smaller wedding (about 80 people) but it was a day I dreamed about forever. The pastor who married us, flew from Australia with his wife and 3 kids to be a part of our beautiful day. Devan is from America (Myrtle Beach) so his family and groomsman all flew down for our special day as well. We had drinks, food, laughs, tears and got a little wild. We had it at the Buffalo Mountain Lodge. The venue was absolutely beautiful! We purchased most decorations and flowers from Michael’s and did lots of DIY. We had Kristilee Parish do our photos and she did an amazing job. I wouldn’t have wanted my wedding to be any other way, full of Jesus, love, laughter and happiness.
