The story of our wedding

We got married on a chilly Saturday but you’d never tell from our sunny photos. We decided if were going to have a big wedding it was going to be 100 percent authentic to us and very conventional. We took tradition and threw it out the window with wanting to make a meaningful day for the both of us. We got married at St. Mary’s university in McGivney Hall this was specifically important to us because we met in university there and we were married by our professor whose class we met in. If there was anything in our lives that we wanted to be full circle it was that. I let my bridesmaids pick the style and shade of red for their dresses as red can be a difficult colour to wear depending on your skin tone. My bouquet and the grooms boutonnière came from incredible florist in Calgary and the rest of the flowers we ordered bulk from Costco. If you want to know how we literally used Costco for everything feel free to ask. We even catered our own wedding Costco style. Photos are all from Carolyn Budreski.
