The story of our wedding

We originally planned to get married in Las Vegas on our 7 year anniversary (May 19) but unfortunately we fell victim to the travel restrictions of Covid-19. It broke my heart that we had to change our plans and move the wedding date to October. I really wanted our wedding date to stay the same, so two weeks before our original wedding date, I was able to find a marriage commissioner and photographer who were available to make our dream possible. We decided to save the suit and wedding dress for Vegas, so we dressed really casual. I bought flowers at local grocery stores and put together bouquets. We could only have a gathering of 10 people so we invited my mom and step dad. My three daughters acted as bridesmaids and witnesses for our marriage license. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun taking photos to celebrate the occasion. Later we order takeout and enjoyed a homemade cake at home. Love always wins. When we look back on this in 20 years, we will be reminded of how special the day was. It was simple but meant so much to us!
