The story of our wedding

Small intimate wedding in a little town a couple hours outside of Toronto, Ontario at a venue called Cranberry Creek Gardens. Outside of a beautiful white and blue chapel built in the 1800s and remodelled for weddings only, with a vintage barn near by, just perfect for our reception. Complete with a long aisle for me to walk down to my groom waiting at the altar on the chapel steps. The girls and I got ready on site in the small century home on site, we enjoyed breakfast together and made sure to dance all morning, 'Going to the Chapel' was a must. Our bridesmaids wore dusty blue dresses, and the guys stuck to classic black suits with black ties. My mom was my maid of honour and wore a lovely navy blue dress to compliment the bridesmaids. White florals with hints of blush and lots of greenery decorated our ceremony and reception for an elegant and classic feel. Candles and white table runners complimented our florals nicely and gave a romantic vibe to the barn. Before our ceremony, my groom and I did a 'first touch' so that we could still interact without seeing eachother, reading letters written the night before, one of our favourite moments. The ceremony began with a string duo playing music for our bridal party to walk down the aisle to. My groom saw me for the first time at the top of the aisle, wearing my hand-beaded, mermaid style Enzoani gown, I felt my most beautiful in that moment. Our guests enjoyed a charcuterie table and passed appetizers during cocktail hour with our signature drinks, red and white sangria. We joined our guests after taking photos during cocktail hour to enjoy our 3 course dinner with caesar salad, a choice of chicken, steak or fish, and of course, wedding cake for dessert. After we listened to intimate speeches from our closest family and friends, we moved over to the chapel for our late night dancing and drinks, accompanied by a bonfire and smores. All of our guests road a party bus back to the hotel so that we could continue to dance and make memories into the early hours of the next morning.
