31 May, 2019The story of our wedding
We had an absolutely beautiful and very personal wedding. After 5 and a half years together it was an amazing day to celebrate the love of the couple, and all the love and support they have been blessed with by their friends and families throughout the journey.
We did our first look and bridal party photos in a gorgeous courtyard at Milton Town Hall, and it looked like a secret garden with the floral, brick walls, and ivy growing all over. It was a stunning place for the fairytale day to begin and was full of fun and exciting energy with the 14-person bridal party helping start the festivities off.
The Bride and Groom said personal vows here in the courtyard and had a drone filming the first look, along with incredible photographers capturing the day.
The Bride had gotten ready in red and white pepper print PJ's, to surprise her future husband, as his last name is Pepper! He didn't see the outfit until the getting ready photos were given back.
The photographers also captured the moment that the bridesmaids first saw the Bride all dressed up - the emotions were high and it was a moment all the girls treasure.

This personalization helped make the ceremony so unique to the couple and many guests commented on how emotional the ceremony was, with custom vows, personal touches, and family traditions including Greek wedding crowns and the Irish hand-fasting.
The Bride's grandmother also spent a weekend teaching the couple how to make her famous family jam recipe, which was the wedding favour for all the guests.
Another grandmother did all of the custom floral work for the wedding, giving it an extra special touch. The Bride's other 2 uncles served as the MC's for the evening, tying this family affair in perfectly. The combination of all aunts, uncles, and grandmothers being involved was a special way to include the family and honour the two grandfathers who had passed away and were looking down from above.
The reception was held in the upper hall of The Grand Chalet in Milton, where we had a lovely Italian dinner and over 150 guests on the floor all night. The floor was full all night and everyone had a blast dancing to a mix of oldies, 90s, Top 40, and everything in between.
The entire day was full of love and personal elements that truly made this wedding extra special.
