The story of our wedding

Gian and I got engaged in Sept of 2021 and one year later we had the most perfect wedding in Summerland, BC. We live in Calgary, but have friends and family spread all over... I grew up in Prince George and went to Uni in the lower mainland before moving to Calgary, and Gian has family in Kelowna and all the way in Australia! So the Okanagan was the most central place we could gather all our loved ones for a big special day and reunion! There has been so much time apart from everyone we love in the last few years, so this was such a special occasion, not only to build on our relationship and make this beautiful step together, but to have so many people in one place finally!

Getting married at OAK estate winery was an absolute dream, and looking back I believe so strongly in having a good team on your side to make the whole day flow seamlessly - and that we did!!! Kayla from Day By Knight events, the venue coordinators from OAK estate, and Yuriko from Vintage Origami literally read my mind and created the most beautiful day! Justine Russo behind the camera and Olivia from TMC weddings with the video and drone footage captured all the magic. Alex from Your Ceremony By Alex made it official. Jordan from DJ Spinalshift kept the ceremony and reception on point and the party going into the evening. Laurence at Fleurich Creations provided the gorgeous florals and Breanne and Madison from Cassidy Watt Artistry had all the girls looking fabulous! All the guests couldn't say enough good things about dinner either... Salt & Brick totally knocked it out of the park! Especially since we had a few dietary restrictions to adhere to - they were very supportive and helpful the whole way!
