The story of our wedding

After 18 years of popping in and out of each other lives, Jay and I finally decided that "everything happens for a reason". We were engaged in July and quickly started planning. Covid definitely made things interesting so we decided a backyard wedding was just the ticket. We initially had a gathering of 50 planned but as covid evolved, so did our plans and our ceremony and reception ended up being an intimate group of 24. My parents walked me halfway down the aisle and his kids (now ours) met us and took me the rest of the way... our faithful pup Chase ran around making sure everyone smelt their very best. We were married under a big tree in our backyard and celebrated afterwards with family. We had a big BBQ (while being as responsible as possible thanks to our wonderful caterers). It was definitely not what most brides would dream of, but it was perfect.
