The story of our wedding
What a day to remember! Everyone tells you it will be one of the best days of your life and it truly was. We chose a team of professional, skilled and fun vendors!
Our wedding in full was done at Club Roma. The day was so beautiful and went off without a hitch. Walking into the gardens for the ceremony, our breath was taken away. And then our reception was held in the Pavilion, which was love at first sight. Anna-Marie bent over backwards to take on all the stress and run the time line flawlessly. We stayed on time but also had so much fun during the process.
Hair and make up was done by Glam & Glow Niagara. Amanda and her team absolutely nailed it. Bringing great vibes to start the day.
Our media team was from TMC Wedding. We got paired with James & Aly for photographers, a married duo who not only crushed the photos but who kept us in the moment, wrangled out family, friends and wedding party through out. We were assigned Hisham from LCV films who did our videography for the ceremony and on. Wow, the video still brings tears to my eyes. He only met us twice (once being virtual) and the video felt so much like us.
Continue reading »We did stayed overnight for two nights at Holiday Inn - St Catherine's. Their suite rooms made for perfect layout to take getting ready pictures. We also booked their meeting room at a pretty reasonably price - which helped both my husband and I not run into each other getting ready.
We booked DJ Toledo for music - who worked with us to create a crowd pleasing playlist that incorporated our diversity preferences. We also booked the Bloom Booth for a photobooth, which was an absolute hit and actually a great preview the days following the wedding.
Boa Bakery in Binbrook did our cake - it was simple and elegant, exactly what we wanted. Also super delicious!!
The florals were from Mullen Garden Market. Their staff is super experienced and knowledgeable about what flowers were in season and how to get the look we wanted. I really wanted anemones, so they ordered in the most realistic silk flowers to meet that need.
Lastly our officiant was Jennie Dobrucki from A Divine Affair/Cathy Davis Officiants. Jennie was an asset and privilege to work with. She is professional, making the legal and official side of the wedding run flawless. She worked with us to build a personal ceremony that was emotional, funny and didn't drag on. We also opted to book her for our rehearsal which I highly recommend!!
The bride, bridesmaids and mother of bride & groom's dresses were all from David's Bridal. The groom was dressed in custom King & Bay. And the groomsmen and father of bride and groom were dressed in Acapella.
