The story of our wedding

All week long it was calling for rain on our wedding date so I was expecting it. The morning had come and it started out beautiful. We received our Costco order of flowers which looked beautiful. We had a few extra flowers delivered which I gave to my cake decorator (Simply Decadent) The cake was amazing!!! (Cake topper from The Topper Shop)My dress was stunning – I bought it at Elmwood Brides and they also did the alterations. Bridesmaid dresses from David’s Bridal who treated us well. The men looked great in their suits from Timpanos (although that week there were problems with the order it all worked out). We had gone to Tangles Salon in Holland Landing for hair and makeup which made everyone look absolutely fantastic! They were quick and made everyone happy with their looks. When we got to RedCrest the weather was holding out and we were able to have the outdoor ceremony by the pond. It looked great and the temperature was perfect. Our DJ Markam (Kam) did a phenomenal job with music selections from the ceremony to the after-party. Our officiant Cheryl kept us on time and had a nice sweet ceremony the way we wanted it. The staff at RedCrest were amazing from start to finish and made everything run so smoothly that we didn’t need a day of coordinator or wedding planner. My photographer, Photos by Jess (Jessica Copeland), did a great job as per usual and I will continue to use her. The dinner was held in a giant white marquee tent and everyone loved it. The food and drinks were great! I was on a high all day and could not stop smiling. I could not have asked for a day any more perfect!
