The story of our wedding

Our love story isn't like most. We found each other when we thought all hope of love was gone. I had suffered a catastrophic brain injury 6 years prior which was a hard road to recover from. I never thought someone could love me because of it. But Jason did! He loved all of my good parts and bad. We were set up on a blind date by a mutual friend and 6 years later we are married. We learned each others likes and dislikes, bought a house, and survived covid together. Jason learned how to manage my seizures and brain injury. Together we are a force! 2 years into dating he proposed. Jason said from the first date I was the one. It was love at first sight.Covid put a hold on our BIG day and made us wait an extra 4 years but man was it worth it!!!!We are both die hard hockey fans and knew from the get go that our theme and colour scheme would be nothing less. Our Carolina Hurricanes were front and centre and carried out through our ceremony and reception. From our red, black, white and silver colours, our section numbers for table numbers, to our ice rink seating chart and more. Our hockey love was everywhere! To top it off we had a pizza bar for dinner and a concession stand for late night! Every hockey fans dream.Getting so spend the day with our closet friends and family made the wait all worth it. The pictures from our photo booth, to our phone guest book are memories we will both cherish for a lifetime. Our day was nothing but magical and we wouldn't have changed a thing. It was everything we dreamed of and more.
