The story of our wedding

Living in Alberta, there are many options for wedding venues. From prairies, to mountains and deserts - the options were endless. We wanted some unique and decided to go with the badlands route - desert, cactus, hoodoos and well - Dino's of course! Our day was a scorching 36 degrees , so needless to say we all melted. Our photographers cameras overheated often and we had to seek shelter in the air conditioned car on multiple occasions. However - I would not have changed it any other way. The day was beautiful - we opted for an evening ceremony and the light was perfect! We got married at the badlands community centre - and their facility is wonderful - a perfect canvas for any event! A couple special elements we included in our wedding was cactus/succulents on the tables, craft beer from the local brewery (valley brewing) and opting for an intimate dinner with our close family instead. We had such a special day!
