The story of our wedding

October 20, 2023 is what would have been my grandparent's 50th anniversary, so it holds a special place in my heart. With this in mind we decided to keep things intimate for the big day. We had a fall micro-wedding that took place in one of the most beautiful gardens in Vancouver: Queen Elizabeth Park. Four years prior we had one of our very first dates in the garden and placed a make-shift lock on the statues. Bloedel Conservatory has since been one of our favourite places to visit, we always gravitate to it whenever we visit Vancouver, especially as bird lovers. The birds and plants are all gorgeous.

Our reception took place at Seasons in the Park, we reserved the Garden Vista room which was perfect for our 24 guests and us. The staff were professional, prompt, and friendly.

The photography duo we had were reliable and really captured everything we had asked for perfectly, and it was so easy to act natural in their presence.
