The story of our wedding

It was a small, romantic vintage themed wedding and truly a perfect day. It rained but only until we left for the church, then started again at 1:30am when we were leaving for the night...thank you God lol! We focused on honouring our loved ones who have made us who we are today cuz if they didn’t love us so wholeheartedly and teach us to truly enjoy life, we wouldn’t be able to love each other so beautifully today and everyday! It was so much fun...we had time to visit every guest personally which is exactly what we hoped for! Our vendors were all amazing! Trevor booth photography, Dave Olsen of solid gold, Celeste Sisley decorator, Alba Giglio of girard florists, Parkwood gospel temple- Fitch Chapel with pastor Danny, A Touch Of Class Limo bus with Klaus, Collins formal wear for the the gents and I bought their hats from eBay Canada. We used davids bridal in London for me & the girls...and though they had a great selection, they were difficult to deal with and ended up expensive with alterations included. Our airbrush makeup was done impeccably by Vanessa of Image Clinic, our makeup was still perfect by the end of the night even though it was so humid...she also did a few laser treatments on my face leading up to the wedding to treat acne scars and my skin was perfect for our big day! I used vista print to design our stationary myself, the price and printing were perfect, I also made our cake and did all of our planning because those are hobbies of mine! I found our mini notebook favours online at efavourmart and also bought our table clothes, chair covers and chair sashes online which cost much less than renting then we sold them after ward to make money back! Our venue was the Fogolar, I don’t want to say anything too bad because the Dante Costa hall was gorgeous, the food was incredible, Lou (God rest his soul) and Bev were wonderful but I will say you have to keep detailed records in print, double check prices before paying and stay on top of things with certain people you deal with there. We decided to forgo a honeymoon to save for our first home in about a year, so nothing to report regarding travel however we have travelled all over Canada and we highly recommend any part of it!!!Since our wedding we have been happier than ever! We joke that we feel like grown ups now lol!
