The story of our wedding

My now husband and I got married on 2/3/23! My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in Nov. We have been engaged for a few years now hoping to save up for a glamorous wedding. Well when Covid hit it hit home just like for everyone else.

A couple things have happened since then that we had to use our wedding funds on. When he was diagnosed, I didn’t see a reason to wait any longer. We had a very small intimate wedding with my mom and some of Jon’s close friends/family. So many people were so generous to help us afford this small wedding. We all know even small isn't free! Haha.

So many people were gracious to help make things a little more affordable or offered their services for almost nothing. We plan to have a ceremony in the spring so all of our friends and family can join us and hoping he is feeling well then. But in case he’s not, we know we are already one ♥️ It was a beautiful day full of memories we will cherish forever.
