The story of our wedding

We got married on a perfectly cool mid-August day in 2019. Our ceremony was at a church in Langley and our reception was on private property. I (bride) chose to do all the planning and virtually everything went smoothly! It was a lot of fun choosing unique additions to make our special day reflect our heritage and our personalities. I don't know if a single term could describe the feel of the wedding but: rustic, german, chic, and fun seem like good starting points.

(Almost) all of our vendors were incredible and I can't say enough about them! I have listed them here. The only complaint I had was that we had requested a naked cake, however, when my MOH picked it up it was nowhere near the style we had requested (& shared photos of). It was iced all over. Ultimately, this wasn't something that ruined the day or even really affected anything but it was a bit of a bummer in the moment. We almost forgot to decorate it but my sister-in-law placed the beautiful hydrangea blooms on it just before it needed to come out!
