The story of our wedding

Our wedding took place at Bird’s Eye Cove Farm, which is a lovely A frame venue that has tons of space and land and doesn’t feel overly rustic. We chose the 25th because we are both born on the 25th of our respective months. The day was absolutely amazing. Flawless. I felt so relaxed and would highly recommend having a day of coordinator (thanks Blue Lily) for that reason. We only had about 50 people in the end and it was a great number because it felt like the relaxed and fun vibe we were hoping for. I walked/danced down the aisle with my Dad to ABBA’s “Take a Chance on Me” and everyone loved it and it felt very me. We read our own vows and they lined up so well together. The entire ceremony was lovely because our Vancouver Officiant really took the time to get to know us as a couple. We had a lovely buffet, a very popular bar and cocktails and a few lawn games to keep everyone entertained. We also had a Mac n cheese bar as our late night snack and desserts were cakes that came from our amazing catering team. A coach bus came to pick everyone up at the end of the night. We haven’t even gotten all of our photos back yet but I couldn’t wait to post. BEST DAY EVER!
