The story of our wedding

We met each other in 2008 at Humber College where we were staying in residence at the north campus. We started dating within two weeks of knowing each other as we were hanging out every single day and decided to make it official. Fast forward to ten years, we decided to take a trip to Iceland for our anniversary and Josh pop the question at diamond beach in 2018. We decided we wanted a short engagement so we set the date on our dating anniversary for Friday September 13th, 2009. We instantly fell in love with Elora Mill, and did not check out any other venues but it doesn't help that I do work in the wedding industry as a florist so I've seen almost all the venues except for the newly built Elora Mills at the time.

Our wedding day was everything and more. It was a day filled with so many happy emotions because we had waited 11 years for this moment. We had a small wedding of 75 with our closest friends and families which is exactly how we envisioned it. There were several moments that will forever stay in my mind throughout the wedding day; one being when Josh said his vows and he incorporated our favourite show; Brooklyn Nine Nine in his vow; "I'm worried about dancing in front of our friends".
