The story of our wedding

Our wedding, like most weddings in the past two years, changed plans multiple times. From a one-year postponement, to switching wedding venues three weeks out. We had a beautiful ceremony outside in the vine chapel at Asessippi Ski Resort - the photos were well worth the cold! My favourite parts of the ceremony were reading our own wedding vows, and having my grandmother being able to officiate the ceremony for us- that made the entire ceremony that much more special having someone we both know and love be able to be such a huge part of our day.

We then party-bussed an hour back to Yorkton in time for our cocktail hour at the Painted Hand Casino in Yorkton. Here we had a delicious buffet supper, speeches from our closest family and friends, and then our dance.

All of the stressing of planning was well worth it in the end- I also learned that it is definitely true, the most important part of the day is time spent with family and friends.
