The story of our wedding

Food, wine, family, friends – Okanagan winery meets the mountains is what we wanted to achieve with our wedding day. When we first started dating, it was a long-distance relationship between the middle-of-no-where Saskatchewan and Vancouver. Our first date featured a stop at the farmers market, a local winery in Kamloops and some of our most enjoyable memories were date nights enjoying great food and wine, along with each others company. Fast forward to four years later, living in the Okanagan, we still take advantage of our surroundings and wanted to give our loved ones a chance to experience the same when they were here for our wedding.

Our team of local vendors, headed by Gabby from Top Knot Events, brought this vision to life and was beautifully captured by Paulina at Otylia Photography, who is also from the Vernon area. Our ceremony was at Our Lady of the Valley church in Coldstream, cocktail hour was at 1609 Restaurant followed by the dinner and dance in the Vance Creek Hotel at SilverStar Resort.
