The story of our wedding

We had a very DIY wedding that represented our interests. The decor was very comic book/nerdy/colourful. We crafted most of the details ourselves (tie, bowties, cufflinks, bouquets, arch, signage). The drinks were Alberta craft. Photographer: Gin Quist (I tried to include photos that showed an array of her work but also left out guests and kids. This was especially tricky because most of my favourites are from the huge list of guest photos. Also, Gin is amazing with children.) The drink menu included Analog Brewing – Hivebomber, a ginger lemon Radler that was amazing and everyone loved; Troubled Monk Brewery – Son of a Peach; and Field Stone Winery – bumbleberry, and raspberry dessert wine mixed into lemonade. Officiant was a friend, cake was made by my sister and we did our own flowers and decor.
