28 Oct, 2023The story of our wedding
We got engaged at Capliano Suspension Bridge on January 6th, 2023 behind all the Christmas lights with a photographer hiding behind a tree to capture it all. The wedding day came only 10 months later, and we couldn't have been more excited. The lead up to the day was so fun with bridal showers, bachelorette and bachelor parties, rehearsal dinner, nail parties and family time. The weather on our wedding day turned out perfectly for a crisp clear Saturday in the fall. We didn't have a first look until walking down the aisle, and Kai was wiping his eyes in awe of that special moment. Our pastor, flowers, music, dresses, suits, participants and vendors were absolutely wonderful. Kai even nailed an imprompu dip halfway down the aisle (highly recommend for an amazing photo!). The ceremony was so full of love and family. At Tsawwassen Springs, the hospitality and quality of recepeption was everything we could have dreamed of. There was a buffet dinner, pastry chef and excellent staff bringing us drinks. The silly dances that the bridal party came up with to enter the reception was hilarious. We did a traditional polish salt and bread ceremony by both of our parents which made the welcoming so special. Many tears were shed during some emotional and entertaining speeches. The music, photo booth, dancing and games made for such a love-filled day that we will never forget. It was truly the most magical day for us and I want to relive that day forever!
