The story of our wedding

Months before the wedding, I contacted Shirley of Fuzzi Moments about artificial bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. She made everything as discussed, and I was able to give my input during the process and make changes. Everything turned out beautifully, and I was able to keep my bouquet after the wedding. We had our ceremony and reception at Tigh-Na-Mara in Parksville, BC. Planning a wedding during the pandemic was not easy, especially with changing public health policies. Jackie kept us up to date with everything, and we were able to have a wedding we wanted while following the PHO. We were well taken care of throughout the whole day and evening. The food and service were top-notch. We highly recommend Tigh-Na-Mara for weddings. Jacklyn and Anuschka of Wildflower Beauty On Location glammed up my bridal party and MIL. During the hair and make-up trial, we went over what I loved and what I would like to have changed. They listened and made sure on the day that everyone was happy with their work. None of us normally wear make-up, but we felt very comfortable and beautiful in our hands. A minor concern I had was that there could have been more communication leading up to the hair and make-up trial, but we went over intro pictures and other concerns during the trial appointment. Our photographer Deanna Veerman (Devee Photography) captured the day beautifully. There was rain and wind warning on the day of the wedding. It was wet, dark, and gloomy, but you could not tell from the photos at all. If you ever feel awkward taking photos, have Deanna take yours on your special day. She made us feel so relaxed, and we had fun during the engagement shoot and wedding day.The wedding gown is from the Bridal Gallery in New Westminster. Great experience from day 1 all the way to pick up time. I did my alterations in house. Bridesmaid dresses are from Azazie. Lots of affordable styles and colour options. The suits are all custom from Moore's.
