The story of our wedding

Matthew & I met at work 8 years ago (A TV news production director & anchor it was meant to be!) He proposed on our favourite trail behind our house in 2019.

We initially planned our wedding for 2021, but the universe had other plans. The day we decided to postpone due to the pandemic, a sweet pup from Antigua was looking for his forever home. We applied to adopt our Kodak that night and a week or two later, he came home to us! I truly believe everything happens for a reason and we were meant to bring this scared, sweet dog into our lives...making us a family of three!

Fast forward to July 2022...our new wedding date arrives (FINALLY) and it could not have been a more picture perfect day! Our wedding was just what we envisioned since day one! A romantic ceremony and reception at the beautiful Elora Mill! It was seriously something out of a fairytale. Even though we postponed our wedding by a year (due to covid) it was worth the wait! The staff at Elora Mill were incredible to deal with. We had live musicians by the ceremony to our favourite songs, which added so much to our special day. Dave Tebbutt (videographer) & Erin Blackwood photography captured every moment so perfectly! We could not have asked for a more beautiful day!
