The story of our wedding

We got engaged on June 5, 2021 - a day I had a photo session planned for at our farm in Port Hope. Little did I know, my now husband and my friend & photographer, had a secret plan. In the middle of the session, Matt had gotten down on one knee and POPPED the question. Of course, I squealed and said Yes!

Wedding Day, June 18 2022:

It was a warm, sunny, but windy day in Campbellford ON at Polmenna Barn, where we got married. Everything looked perfect. The ceremony, short, but sweet. Nerves were present, but excitement and happiness overruled the nerves.We said our vows that we wrote one another, did a drink unity ceremony, Said our I do's and tied the knot!

The cocktail hour allowed our friends and family to enjoy some cold beverages, some of our unity ceremony punch, and lots of laughs.We kicked off the reception with a fun grand entrance of us and our wedding party. Followed by some speeches, grace, and then dinner (which was smoked meat and sides, which was to-die-for by the way).We focused on country and music that got the guests rockin' out of their seats onto the dance floor. Bad dance moves took place, drinks were had, along with lots of fun and laughter.We had an amazing photographer who captured some amazing shots throughout the entire day and into the golden hour.We finished the night with a sparkler send off and the rest is history.A day and night I will never forget.
