The story of our wedding

Our day was magic.

After a year of hard planning, the day was everything we could have hoped for - from beautiful weather, to all of our close family and friends being present to watch us commit to our life together. Our 1920s manor venue set the tone for our day, in soft vintage feels and colours, complete with antique book centerpieces.

Big Band music helped seat our guests for the short personal ceremony, complete with our handwritten vows. We followed up with tasty cocktails, and a to die for dinner where guests could choose off of a shortened menu of NY Strip, Chicken Breast, Encrusted Salmon or a Veggie Curry.

The day felt classic, though we removed many traditions (goodbye bouquet tosses, and wedding cakes). Keeping our guest list to just under 80 people let us interact with every single person who came and thank them for making the day complete.

Watching the sunset together, was the perfect cap on the day and the perfect start to the rest of our lives together.
