The story of our wedding

As a couple coming from two different cultures, we were lucky enough to have multiple wedding celebrations. For our actual winter wedding day, we wanted to keep it intimate and casual. We started our day with first look and family photos. Our ceremony was with our immediate families only, and then we hosted an evening reception with our loved ones. We wanted to maximize our time spent with guests so we opted for a cocktail party-style reception so that we could mingle. We had an open bar, and plenty of canapes (12 - 15 pieces per person so it would be an adequate meal replacement), a dessert table and late night food too. We still incorporated wedding day elements including speeches, a first dance, cake-cutting, a DJ and a dance floor. It was a wonderful evening.
