Paul and Renee's wedding in Grafton, Ontario

Fast forward 6 months through lots of lists, planning, seating charts and DIY decor projects and the day had finally come. We lucked out with the weather, it ended up being a beautiful August day. The ceremony started at 4pm in the forest and it was dreamy! My husband and I had worked for months on the music, he's a DJ so we decided to make a mix to play instead of paying a DJ. The music we chose for the forest and ceremony was very unique and ethereal and almost everyone commented on how beautiful it was.

After the ceremony the wedding party headed off for photos while the rest of the guests headed to the pavillion for cocktails and hour d'oeuvres. Once we were done with photos everyone took their seats in the tent for dinner. We had amazing BBQ food (Smoke Signals BBQ out of Toronto) which suited the venue perfectly and everyone raved about the food afterwards.

Following dinner we cut the cake and then we had the exciting gender reveal. My sister had made a box which we hung from the tent that was filled with blue balloons. My husband and I had no idea of the gender and we were very excited to find out we were having another boy!

Dessert was then served followed by our first dances and the party. We had a blast dancing to all of our favourite music with our favourite people until the wee hours of the morning. Then we all retired back to our own private luxury safari tents which came complete with furniture, electricity and ensuite washrooms. The perfect end to the most perfect day! ❤❤
