Our Perfect Day

While I had planned a grand engagement gesture, it came instead at the end of a disagreement mid-pandemic.

The wedding would make up for the simplicity of the engagement.

My mom passed away almost ten years ago and an insurance settlement she was awarded was willed to my father. Living a simple life throughout the pandemic, he was able to save the settlement money as my mom's final gift to me, my dream wedding.

We put together the perfect, magical, intimate day for us and 60 of our closest family and friends. Food prepared by one of our favourite date night chefs, a venue with beautiful riverfront views, a guitarist, a band, and a drag queen. All came together to make the most memorable day/night of our lives.
