The story of our wedding

Our wedding was wonderful! Everything worked out so perfect! We got married at The Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Alberta. Our ceremony was in the private Ivor Petrak room and our reception was in the semi-private Mt. Stephen Hall and both were so beautiful. We made sure to look around and talk to vendors before booking; we attended the wedding expo in Calgary which was very helpful. We wanted the day to be classy and romantic but also a little rustic and have a cozy winter feel.

The ceremony decor included an ivory aisle runner with evergreen boughs and lanterns along the sides, ivory chair covers, and we were lucky enough to have a small Christmas tree in the room since we got married in December.

The reception was very cozy: we have grey and silver tablecloths, tall branch center pieces with tea lights hanging from the branches and small greenery arrangements around the base, rustic wooden chairs, and again since it was December there was a huge Christmas tree in the corner and beautiful greenery arches all lit up around the room.
