31 Aug, 2019The story of our wedding
We almost didn't have a wedding, when our semi broke down in Billings, Montana a week before the day! With no timeline from the shop for when it would be fixed, we rented a cargo car and Nate drove 16hrs straight to get us home Wednesday morning. With only a few days before the wedding, we scrambled to get everything done (including getting our marriage license) and thankfully family and friends pitched in long hours to be ready in time for Saturday.
We had a small country wedding in the little mountain town we call home. Lots of friends, family and love filled the upstairs of the golf courses building. While I wouldn't recommend they cater the event, I definitely think the location is beautiful. Our friend provided all our table wine with custom labels specially designed for our wedding and Nate's mom spent months altering the dress for me. My Dad made the ladder arch we exchanged vows under, while all the decorating was coordinated and completed by my sister and family/friends.

Since we're both truckers and a bit "redneck", toy semi's hauled our rings and we shared our first whiskey shot as a married couple. Our photographer was absolutely amazing, he brought props and professionalism to our day. He's a wizard with Photoshop and we had a blast, I've included some pictures from the collection. I will always remember what a beautiful day we had and very thankful to be married to my best friend!
