The story of our wedding

Our wedding day was wonderful... perfect. I wish I could go back. The only day this summer with 0% humidity; the kind of weather you would hope for your wedding day. We got ready with our closest friends. I (the bride) had a few first looks down in the banquet room with my parents before heading off for the biggest first look — seeing my soon-to-be husband. Thank goodness we chose to do this because it certainly helped ease the nerves. I didn't expect to feel as nervous as I did that day. But once we saw each other, it mostly melted away. The excitement that we were getting married; really doing this. After our pictures of the two of us were done, we headed off to get our pictures done with our group. Once those pictures were done, we did our family pictures. A lot of pictures to get done in the afternoon. Just before our guests started arriving, I headed off into the owner of the ranch's home to hide and relax before walking down the aisle. Our friends brought us some drinks and shots and we enjoyed the time we had to soak it all in. Our ceremony was beautiful. It was unplugged and everyone respected our wishes. We wrote our own vows and they were heartfelt and honest. Our decision to do our portrait pictures in the morning was so that we could spend time with people during the cocktail hour. It was great to celebrate and enjoy the moment with our guests right away. We truly had a wonderful day. All of our vendors were great. Our photographers did a great job at capturing all the small details, intimate moments and candid shots.
