The story of our wedding

We had our dream day at the Foundry Room, Edmonton. Timeless elegance was our goal and we kept our decor pretty minimal, so we wanted a venue that would stand on its own. The word of the day was FUN - we wanted to have a rockin' party with our closest friends and family and boy did we. We focused a lot of effort on the food and guest experience - glam photobooth, fun cocktails, outdoor patio - and a few surprises. One of the best memories of the day is when my husband surprised me with a song - and that he can sing! We joke that he accidentally got his proposal idea from Schitt’s Creek so he surprised me by singing Simply the Best during our reception - it was so incredibly special and thoughtful! Our good friend smuggled in his guitar in a gift box and played it while my husband absolutely blew the roof off the place. Nothing will ever compare, he's simply the best! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to kick off married life!
