The story of our wedding

We first met online and spent a long time getting to know each other before officially starting to date when we met for the first time, in Niagara Falls, back in 2014. We had to do long distance for a while but thankfully got ourselves in the same pace before COVID hit. Unfortunately our engagement ring got trapped thousands of miles away from us during lockdown, in NY. Once Ryan finally got the ring back he wasted little time in proposing on a quick trip to Victoria, BC. We decided that while we were in Alberta, Ryan's family smattered through Western Canada, and my family was mostly in NY, none of those places were the place to get married. We decided to go full circle and started looking at getting married in the Niagara region in Ontario. We started doing some research on Wedding Wire looking at venues, and I whittled us down to 3 places that we were going to see in person. Using Wedding Wire meant I was able to read reviews, and view photos and that was a great start that pushed me to their websites or social media to get more details. Once our venue was settled I used Wedding Wire again to work my way through the recommended vendor lists, and everything worked out wonderfully. Our officiant was loved by all of our guests, our DJ timed the music perfectly during the ceremony, and the florals were gorgeous!
