Ryan and Pamela's wedding in Trenton, Nova Scotia

3 Aug, 2024The story of our wedding
We had a beautiful day at our best friends’ farm property! We started with the ceremony in the front tea garden, followed by outdoors games and shenanigans in the adjacent field. Supper was catered by Pantry Kitchen, and everyone ate in the big barn that we had spent WEEKS fixing up, cleaning, preparing, decorating, etc. The barn truly wasn’t recognizable from start to finish. Flower bouquets, for the bride and bridesmaids, and centrepiece vases, were all made with flowers ordered from Costco. The flowers arrived on time, and were absolutely beautiful! The weather was super hot, but cloudy with a breeze which saved the day. Photos by Mundy was our amazing photographer, and she made sure everyone was comfortable, allowing us to be ourselves and photographing our shenanigans. We drove around on our tractor, convinced the entire wedding party to climb into the roof of our bus camper for some fun pictures, and I, the bride, even pulled the groom around in a wagon for some laughs. We ended the day with a dance in the same barn. The beautiful chandelier, made by the Maid of Honour and another bridesmaid, lit up the space perfectly. We had our own playlist made up, with songs suggested by wedding guests on their RSVPs. We danced and celebrated the night away, and everyone had a great time. The Maid of Honour and Best Man own the property we used for the wedding. These two also originally set us up together over five years ago. Without all of their help, before dating, and preparing for this wedding, this day would not have been possible. We also had lots of help from parents, the wedding party, and could not be more grateful. We are hoping to get the honeymoon booked for this winter, and will toast to all of the effort and love that made this celebration possible!
