The story of our wedding

Our wedding was very elopement-esque and we wouldn't have had it any other way. In our planning, we stuck to the mantra "simple is best" and only included details that were absolutely necessary to us as a couple (such as doughnuts from our favourite local bakery!!). On rather short notice, we gathered our closest friends and family and married each other on a Wednesday afternoon in a park near our apartment, downtown. It was a beautiful day, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to have an intimate wedding. Our ceremony included an impromptu dance party, and to top it off, we took a big orange trolley bus to dinner, and our reception menu was pizza and sangria. It was true to us and we are thankful we didn't end up having the huge wedding that felt like it was for everyone but us. We had time to spend with every guest, time to make memories, no timeline we had to be glued to...and we knew every person there wholeheartedly supported us.
