The story of our wedding

Sonny and I met in college while studying engineering together, ever since we fell in love and have been together for over 9 years! We decided to get married back in 2019 and began planning our wedding then. We got married in the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Canada. We had planned it since 2019 but when the pandemic hit in 2020 we had to push it off to the summer of 2021, and that was also pushed due to restrictions. Our dream wedding came true just a week ago and we have been raving about coming back ever since. It was our first time traveling to Canada as a family and to Banff. The hotel was amazing and the wedding planner went the extra mile to accommodate our requests. For the wedding dress decided to have a unique take on a veil using a cape instead, and the groom wearing blue navy similar to the women's guests. The men were wearing all black suits. The cake was a delicious and very simple design with a marble effect and minor gold specks around. Our favorite part of our wedding was that we made a weekend out of it. Our close family relative made the trip to celebrate with us and we enjoyed the weekend as a united family rather than just one night. We want to continue enjoying as one big family in future trips!
