7 Jan, 2023The story of our wedding
We chose The Hemingway Room (The Commons) as our venue for our special day. Such a beautifully designed, brick space that created the perfect modern industrial look. We had a mid-afternoon ceremony. We opted to not do a first look, and instead saw each other for the first time walking down the aisle. Because we didn't do a first look, we did photos immediately after the ceremony on-site at the venue, and then traveled to Studio Boheime that our photographer (Jasmine Jones Photography) booked for us to take golden hour photos in.
The decor was rented through Chair Flair. Shannon from Chair Flair has a great eye for picking out the decor and lounge furniture that fit exactly what we were looking for.
We opted for simple flowers, which Dee Vine Petals nailed.
We met back up with our guests at 6pm for a cocktail style reception where Red Seal Dining served us hors d' oeuvres - gyoza, aranchini, proccuito wrapped asparagus, sliders, mac & cheese, and more, which all of our guests raved about. We are happy we went with a cocktail style event instead of a sit down dinner as all of our guests were up and about mingling all night long. We had a few sections of couches and mix of high and low tables that made for a more informal setting.

Our dance started at 8:30pm and Revolution Entertainment DJ kept the party going all night long.
The night was so magical!
