The story of our wedding

Our wedding was a true fairytale. It felt like everything was aligned, and I would say the day went on without a hitch. The theme was whimsical elegance; colours of blush, ivory, champagne, and gold. Beauty and the beast is my all time favourite fairytale movie, so I tried to incorporate a (small) beauty and the beast theme. I walked down the aisle to Tale as Old as Time played by a cellist and violinist, and my flowers consisted of roses. We had an outdoor ceremony over looking the River Valley in Edmonton-it did not feel like we were in Edmonton. Followed by a beautiful champagne service land dinner and dancing in the Blackhawk Golf Club's banquet room. My favourite part was the train of golf carts our bridal party had driving from one photo location to the next (along the river valley) drinking champagne. The dinner to the dessert table was some of the best food I had tasted, and it wasn’t just because I was so hungry! I couldn’t have asked for a better day!
