The story of our wedding

Last October, we decided to cancel with our original venue and figure out what we should do about COVID. A few months and some re-planning later, we decided to have a small, intimate ceremony in my parents' backyard with friends and family. With an excellent photographer, an attentive officiant, beautiful flowers, and a delicious cake all from local vendors, it was a perfect day.

My mother and I made my dress; one of my best and oldest friends made a signature cocktail; my other best friend did my hair; and we made apple butter for people to take home with them. And, on top of it all, it didn't rain.

It was a perfect day.
