The story of our wedding

We have been waiting since 2020 to get married. Two months before we were supposed to say “I do” the pandemic hit. With multiple delays and several rebooking sand losing money, we seriously thought there was no hope. So much happened in-between too. We bought a house, had a baby so we just figured when it’s meant to be, it will happen. After struggling for a year with postpartum depression we decided to once again postpone as my mental health was suffering. As we started to plan our sons first birthday, our event planner suggested doing a ceremony to make the day extra special. So we decided after some deliberation, LETS DO IT! So we kept it a secret so that there was no expectations. It ended up being such a magical day as we celebrated us and our little boy turning 1. So much emotions for me as my dad unfortunately passed away before Christmas of 2022 so I had my mom and sister walk me down the aisle. Such a special day that I will never forget. I am so blessed with family and friendships and I’m glad we finally got to tie the knot.
