The story of our wedding

Sunday September 17th was the happiest day of our lives! I can definitely tell you that the happiness didn't kick in until after the ceremony was over, but wow, it was amazing! The day of your wedding feels like its 100 hours. Getting ready is the best! You feel like the most special person in the room!

My flowers arrived in the wrong colour but I just shook it off, they were still beautiful! My earrings weren't going into my ears so I had to scrap that at the last minute. But all in all it was a smooth morning. The ceremony was straight from a dream, it was everything I ever imagined. Right on the water, perfect weather, standing in front of a beautiful birch tree alter we made with trees from our cottage. The second my dad and I started walking down the aisle, everyones eyes started tearing up, even the best man! My husband is not an emotional person at ALL but he did get a little emotional! We had a 25 minute ceremony and wrote our own vows. I got a little chocked up after Zach finished his vows but all in all, it was pretty perfect!
