Wow wow wow!! The venue was intimate, yet spacious enough to seat 100. Its modern and chic, and looked amazing with candle lighting! The food was 10/10. Everybody enjoyed their chicken, salmon and/or steak. The service was impeccable!!! Hailey, Hayley and Jon are definitely the dream team. They were so profressional, accomodating, and were also always present via phone or email to answer any questions or guide me! We didnt have an issue with parking, even given that the venue was downtown. We had enough space for a dancefloor, and we made use of the AV/media system. We were able to play our wedding movie on it! Im really excited to host another event here! All my friends and family members have also been calling me non stop about this venue! Book this venue, you wont be disappointed!

Booked this place for our wedding reception in such a very short notice on February 2019. The event manager and coordinator (Hayley and Hailey), manager on duty (Michael) and the staff were all very accomodating and professional. The food was scrumptious. The underground room that we used was very exclusive which is great for private events. Service was phenomenal and everyone was polite. Our guests really enjoyed everything and so did we. Definitely recommended!

I found JOEY Eaton Centre Private Dining on google. I reached out and it was Hayley Winters who responded to my initial inquiry and was my point of contact throughout the entire wedding reception planning process. She was always very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had. I had planned the reception remotely, living in California but with the wedding in Toronto. She communicated with me by phone or email, and worked with my parents to schedule site visits and the taste testing. I was told that since my event was being held on a Friday before the Christmas holiday, there would be a certain minimum spend, higher than if it was not holiday season. But, Hayley said that she would be willing to host our wedding reception for slightly less. All information that I provided her with regards to our reception details were put into our file that was later sent to us 1 week prior for final approval as well as to give the final head count. There were 5 TVs in the private dining space. But, the way the system was designed was that you needed a laptop per TV. So, I went with 3 TVs of my own display and 2 TVs displaying JOEY's fireplace channel. The 3 TVs were tested in advance, but for some reason the day of, two of them wouldn't display my power point slide deck in full screen mode. The reception floor plan was laid out exactly as I had specified. As for the wedding cake, for the cost to go towards the minimum spend, you had to go with their cake bakery partner. Unfortunately, this was more expensive than if I had gone with an external cake vendor, and there would have been a plating fee. There is no dedicated washroom for the private dining space, it is on the same lower level, and shared with the main restaurant upstairs. There is a small storage space in the kitchen area that could have been used the day of if needed. Overall, I thought our wedding reception went smoothly and the food was delicious!

Just had lunch at Joey's today. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. The food was delicious. The only thing was, for the cost of the food the portion was small. I felt that they could be a bit more generous with the portion. I honestly thought I might have ro pick up something else to eat on my way home.

I came upon Joey's private spaces online while searching for a location close to City Hall where we were getting married.

While confirming the booking and details, Hayley was awesome to work with and the day of, Michael took care of every detail. This team took care of all the details, letting us enjoy our special day with guests. It was a care-free process through and through. The venue exceeded our expectations as did the service. Guests were impressed with the venue and level of privacy and loved the food. I highly recommend this venue for all types of events, but especially for a meal before or after a City Hall wedding, so classy and convenient! The venue and staff really added an extra level of class to our simple wedding day. THANK YOU!

I was in search of a restaurant to host a small wedding reception dinner after my wedding ceremony. After a long search I came across JOEYs and inquired about holding the event there. I had never dined there however I had heard good things through friends and family. I got in touch with their events coordinators, Hailey and Hayley, and they were happy to accommodate this reception. Communication was prompt and they were very friendly.They provided me photos and menus. I told them about my budget and they were able to accommodate it.

The space was intimately located under the restaurant dining room. We accessed it through an elevator. The event space had a beautiful atmosphere, the room was dim, and there was a bar area with seating and a dining area.

We were served a three course meal, starting with a salad, then a choice of a salmon, chicken, or steak dish, and finished with a dessert. My husband is a vegetarian and he was served a delicious spaghetti pomodoro which he enjoyed. They were also able to accommodate children! They also provided me with a cake vendor, and we were able to purchase a small wedding cake which was convenient and enjoyed!

All my guests enjoyed their time and were raving about the food. The staff were very friendly and the event space was gorgeous. Overall I have no complaints and would recommend this space to anyone looking to host a reception.

We had our rehearsal dinner here in the down stairs private room, with about 40 guests, and everyone including my husband and I were so impressed! My guests from the very beginning when cocktails began came up to me and said they were having such a great time! The ambiance, decor, and service was on point! It was so great working with the manager to plan this event, she was so responsive and helpful in accommodating our preferences, and even menu change! Even during the night, the servers were very professional and helpful. We would highly recommend this venue to others!

My husband and I were absolutely blown away by the service, professionalism, kindness, and attitudes of everyone who worked our wedding reception at JOEY Eaton Centre. The staff were INCREDIBLE. The food was also outstanding!

We received so many complements from all of our guests about the location, decor, and the quality of the food and the service.

We really cannot say enough good things about everyone who worked our event. Everyone was absolutely amazing. The servers were friendly and attentive and were some of the most amazing servers we have ever seen. Our guests completely loved them. They made a point of knowing everyone's name at our party and knew what each individual was drinking. Honestly, as two people who have worked as servers in the past, my husband and I want to acknowledge what a tremendous feat that is. Wow!

My husband and I were also extremely appreciative of Brendan, the Operations Manager at JOEY; he did a fabulous job running our event and certainly made sure my husband and I were well taken care of throughout the night.

We are so happy we chose JOEY's for our wedding reception. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Thank you for all of your hard work to assist us in planning and running this awesome event!

Hosting our rehearsal dinner at Joey Eaton Centre was absolutely perfect! Hayley was wonderful working with us to coordinate the meals, and how the evening would run. I forgot that a few of our guests had specific dietary restrictions, and Hayley was so quick to take action and ensure the needs would be met. The food itself was absolutely delicious (the poutine and sliders were a huge hit), and the staff who attended to us on the day were friendly and there for anything we may have needed. The space was also perfect, secluded and spacious, and great for my nieces and nephews who wanted to run around. Thank you guys for helping get our big day off to a great start!
